Frania Zins, a former dancer, is both a Physical Therapist and a Feldenkrais Practitioner. She received her Masters of Science degree in physical therapy from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1986. She completed her Feldenkrais Professional Training program in 1993. Since then she has blended the two methodologies into, what she hopes, is a tangible synthesis of function, science and art.

She has been the clinical director at Sports Training Institute in New York City, studied a variety of movement and manual therapy techniques (including becoming certified in Craniosacral therapy in 1988). She has taught workshops for dancers at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, Belgium and has worked with dancers from Mark Morris, Paul Taylor, Rosas, Meg Stuart, Joffrey, and Ballet Frankfurt, as well as numerous independent choreographers and dancers. She has also worked with a wide range of serious athletes in improving their abilities and decreasing their pain from injuries. She is an adjunct professor at C.U.N.Y.
